About TrueKin

We built the mirror we wished we'd had.

TrueKin started with a simple, stubborn frustration: you can know someone for years and still keep misreading them in the same predictable ways. We wanted something fairer than a quiz and warmer than a clinical assessment — a clear reading of the dynamic between two people.

Our story

Most tools describe a person. We describe the bond.

2024

The question

After one too many conversations that went in circles, we started asking why two people who love each other keep misreading the same moments.

2025

The instrument

We spent a year turning relationship psychology into a structured assessment that reads two perspectives as a single system.

2026

TrueKin

A relational mirror for partners, parents and children, and the people you build with — honest, private, and yours to keep.

What we believe

Six principles we won't compromise on.

A mirror, not a verdict

We describe the dynamic between two people. We never grade it, score it, or tell you whether to stay.

Two views, read as one

A relationship lives in the space between people. We read both perspectives together, not as rival scorecards.

Plain language, real science

Decades of attachment and communication research, translated out of the clinic and into words you can actually use.

Privacy as a first principle

This is intimate data. It's encrypted, never sold, and never used to train anything. You decide what's shared.

Fair to both people

No villains, no diagnosis. The reading has to be something both of you can recognise yourselves in.

Built to be revisited

A relationship isn't a snapshot. Your reading is yours to keep and return to as things change.

Start when you're ready

Built for the relationships
that shape who you are.

Partners, parents and children, co-founders and close friends — start with the one you most want to understand.
